Temporary Solutions, Inc. is currently working with a client that supplies funds for services and programs in our local area. We are searching for an Emergency Communications Technician to provide support for clients who need technical assistance. The Emergency Communications Technician will provide post vaccine observation of client for signs and symptoms of adverse reactions and collect survey data from participants.

Responsibilities:

  • Familiarize self with vaccination protocols/policies
  • Ensure that chairs in the Observation Room are spaced 6 feet apart
  • Wipe down chairs per protocol between uses
  • Locate where Anaphylaxis/Emergency Kit is stored and. review directions on how to administer Epinephrine Autoinjector
  • Locate and know where nearest AEDs are
  • Answer any additional questions from clients or if not sure of answer, request assistance from supervisor
  • Encourage clients to remain in POD for the time recommended by the vaccinator
  • Observe clients for any type of reactions
  • Complete all required reporting if emergency response is provided
  • Assist Safety Officer or other team member as assigned with providing information for Incident Report
  • Provide clients with V-Safe information and encourage clients to complete a survey through CDC V-Safe website
  • Assist in POD daily demobilization activities

Qualifications:

  • Holds/maintains a current CPR certification
  • Spanish speakers preferred
