Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver engaging and informative lessons in sewing to students of various ages and skill levels.
- Create a positive and inclusive learning environment that fosters creativity and encourages student participation.
- Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback to support their growth and development.
- Utilize effective classroom management techniques to ensure a safe and productive learning environment.
- Collaborate with other instructors and staff to coordinate activities and events.
Experience:
- Previous experience working with students in an educational setting preferred, but not required.
- Knowledge in sewing techniques and principles.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively convey information and instructions to students.
- Ability to adapt teaching methods to accommodate different learning styles and abilities.
- Passion for teaching and inspiring others to pursue their interests in sewing.
- Experience in lesson planning and curriculum development is preferred, not required.
