Roots ‘n Shoots is a small, woman-owned microgreens grower in Arlington. We work in the most sustainable manner possible, avoiding wasteful packaging and other materials, using low energy lights and minimal water.
Position available: Farmers Market Stand Manager
Farmers Market Stand Manager:
We want passionate people with energy to promote the benefits of using microgreens with meals, smoothies, etc. Our mission is to get microgreens to everyone, so we support people to grow their own. We also support people with special health or financial needs by donating materials and greens.
We are looking for people to run farmers market stands in the Arlington, Alexandria, and DC area, mostly on Saturday and Sunday mornings. This entails picking up materials, setting them up, and the most important activity - selling. Need to have a vehicle, be able to lift 50 lbs, be personable, and work toward learning all about microgreens.
Pay starts at $15 per hour for 5 hours and increases to $18 soon after showing responsibility, trustworthiness, and reliability. There is a great commission structure and you can accept tips!
