Major Duties

Performs technical work in support of management analysis and program analysis to evaluate and improve efficiency, effectiveness, and productivity of the organization using the Business Intelligence software suites. Conducts performance monitoring and support of Business Operations functions to include HQ retail merchandising and supply chain programs. Performs technical work in support of vendor setup to manage the solicitation, validation, entry, maintenance, reporting, and communication of data across the organization’s RMS (Retail Merchandising System) and rCMS (Retail Compliance Management System) software suites.

Works in a cross-functional environment, facilitating the flow of information between Business Operations, IT, Finance, vendors, and supply chain partners. Assists with the collection, compiling, organization, and maintenance of vendor setup and compliance records. Provides support for processes related to use of RMS and rCMS. Monitors programs and end user activity, reports to management, and initiates corrective action as needed. Prepares supporting documentation for presentations and proposals. Gathers requirements from business end users for report maintenance and new report development. Assists with program analysis using both quantitative and qualitative data, and presents findings in clear and concise format.

May perform tasks and reviews of various internal functions and systems to determine maximum efficiency and compliance with established MCCS policies and regulations. May prepare correspondence, briefs, action documents, routing sheets, point papers, and slide presentations for use by management officials.

May work a fluctuating work schedule to complete work assignments outside of the typical work week and work hours.

Provides World Class Customer Service with an emphasis on courtesy. Assists customers and communicates positively in a friendly manner. Asks questions to determine, verify and solve problems. Checks for satisfaction on the quality of goods and services. Takes action to solve problems quickly. Alerts the higher-level supervisor, or proper point of contact for help when problems arise. 

Adheres to safety regulations and standards. Uses required safety equipment and observes safe work procedures. Promptly reports any observed workplace hazards, and any injury, occupational illness, and/or property damage resulting from workplace mishaps to the immediate supervisor.

Adheres to established standards of actively supporting the principles of the EEO program and prevention of sexual harassment. 

Performs other related duties as assigned. This is a white-collar position where occasional lifting up to 20 lbs may be required. 



Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in a related field appropriate to work of the position, OR an appropriate combination of education and experience that demonstrates possession of knowledge and skill equivalent to that gained in the above, OR three years of practical experience that demonstrates skill to perform technical work in support of program analysis and management analysis to evaluate and improve efficiency, effectiveness, and productivity. Must have knowledge and application of spreadsheet and word processing software packages to include the ability to create and use formulas, functions, and pivot tables. Knowledge of retail inventory technology systems. Skill to compile and analyze qualitative and quantitative data, and develop statistical or narrative reports, charts, and graphs. Skill to communicate verbally and in writing to assist in preparing and presenting recommendations and solutions regarding issues based on analysis and evaluation of proposals. Established ability to understand the needs of system users and provide good customer service in the resolution of problems or improvement of processes. Ability to collaborate across functional areas of the business. Ability to apply the mechanics of purchasing, vendor negotiations, and common business practices. Knowledge of general clerical procedures is required. Familiarity with basic business math and Profit and Loss statement preferred. Must be flexible in various environments and have proven ability to work and support across multiple teams
