Core Responsibilities Include:
- Develop and foster long-term relationships with industry professionals, assisting them with their career development.
- Coordinate with hiring managers to identify recruitment needs.
- Source potential candidates through various channels including cold calling, LinkedIn, social media, and industry networking events.
- Collaborate with hiring managers to design job-defining agreements.
- Assist with the development and execution of workforce strategy initiatives including 360-performance reviews, learning and development workshops, strategic planning, benefits benchmarking, and employee engagement surveys.
- Provide candidates with resume and portfolio critiques, meeting preparation guidance, and career coaching services.
- Research and write industry-specific blog articles to promote DesignForce and personal brand.
Preferred Qualifications Include:
- Hold a BA or BS in Communications, Human Resources, Psychology, or a related field.
- 0-5 years of experience in talent acquisition, human resources, career coaching, organizational psychology, or a related field.
- Display exemplary communication capabilities; effectively communicating verbally and through writing.
- Be self-motivated and display a commitment to task completion.
- Be able to pivot quickly and adapt to change in a fast-paced, high-energy environment.
- Love food. Seriously. We like to eat. (Specific knowledge about the DC food scene is a plus, but not a requirement).
