Core Responsibilities Include:

  • Develop and foster long-term relationships with industry professionals, assisting them with their career development. 
  • Coordinate with hiring managers to identify recruitment needs. 
  • Source potential candidates through various channels including cold calling, LinkedIn, social media, and industry networking events. 
  • Collaborate with hiring managers to design job-defining agreements.
  • Assist with the development and execution of workforce strategy initiatives including 360-performance reviews, learning and development workshops, strategic planning, benefits benchmarking, and employee engagement surveys. 
  • Provide candidates with resume and portfolio critiques, meeting preparation guidance, and career coaching services. 
  • Research and write industry-specific blog articles to promote DesignForce and personal brand.

 

Preferred Qualifications Include:

  • Hold a BA or BS in Communications, Human Resources, Psychology, or a related field. 
  • 0-5 years of experience in talent acquisition, human resources, career coaching, organizational psychology, or a related field. 
  • Display exemplary communication capabilities; effectively communicating verbally and through writing. 
  • Be self-motivated and display a commitment to task completion.
  • Be able to pivot quickly and adapt to change in a fast-paced, high-energy environment.
  • Love food. Seriously. We like to eat. (Specific knowledge about the DC food scene is a plus, but not a requirement).
