Position Summary
Assist and provide support to the Neurology patients, physicians (s), Clinical Nurse Manager as well as the needs of the center. This position will require an experienced, credible, and inviting person with excellent communication and organizational skills.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily and other duties assigned.
- Will exhibit exceptional customer service skills, telephone etiquette, and written or verbal communication
- Responsible for coordinating patient appointments
- Greets patient, as well as escorts to the exam room on arrival
- Will have knowledge of Touchworks, as well as computer literacy
- Assist in any concerns patient may have
- Prepare surgical fee letter and discuss with the patient
- Administrative support for Clinical Nurse Manager
- Assist administrative assistant, as well as receptionist as assigned
- Will exhibit good attendance and punctuality
- Organize packets for new cosmetic patients
Minimum Qualifications
Education
- High school graduation or an equivalent combination of training and experience is necessary.
Experience
- 3 years of secretarial experience in a healthcare environment.
- Experience working with patient records, billing, and scheduling in a clinical setting is needed for this position.
Physical Requirements
- Stand, walk, and reach above the shoulder frequently in a clinical setting.
- Must be able to occasionally lift and carry or push and pull up to 100 lbs. as part of the role
- Regularly exposed to healthcare settings that may require personal protective equipment
- Requires manual dexterity to operate a computer keyboard, calculator, copier machine, and other equipment.
