Kitchen Aide

- Knowledge of the National School Lunch Program in DCPS
- Posses the ability to create, complete and review production sheets per OSSE requirements
- Knowledge on how to keep temperatures of equipment, the warmer and the refrigerator (temperature logs)
- Have Serve Safe certification registered in Department of Health
- Great interpersonal skills
- Have basic administrative experience, technology savvy knowledge of Microsoft Office (Basic, windows, excel, etc.) and conduct basic online research (know how to look for recipes on websites, how to scan documents, check and create emails)

 

Role: Potential candidate will

 

- Serve food in a cafeteria
- Heat food
- Prepares sandwiches or breakfasts
- Cuts fruits and vegetables
- Cleans the kitchen
- Liaison between the Meal Programmer at the school, and us AND to manage the meal program
- Keep production records
- Serves, orders, and manages FFAVORS (Fresh Fruits and Vegetables Order Receipt System)
***Works with Mosaic (Heartland Solutions) would be a plus

 

Schedule: Monday through Friday - 6:45am-1:00pm
