The PowerApps Developer (or Power Platform Solution Architect) is responsible for designing, implementing, and optimizing enterprise-grade solutions within a federal government environment. This role ensures compliance with DoD, FedRAMP, and NIST security standards while driving innovation using Microsoft Power Platform technologies, including Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI, Dataverse, and Power Pages.

The contractor shall integrate PowerApps with Army-specific Application Programming Interfaces (APIs), databases, and external systems for seamless data exchange.

The contractor shall design and develop Model-Driven Apps using PowerApps to create structured data-centric applications for Army operations and workflows.

The contractor shall configure entities, fields, relationships, and business rules within DataVerse to support the data model of Model-Driven Apps.

The contractor shall utilize Power Pages within PowerApps to create interactive and visually appealing user interfaces for Model-Driven Apps tailored to Army requirements.

The contractor shall integrate DataVerse as a secure and scalable data platform to store and manage military data for Model-Driven App development

The contractor shall implement custom business processes, workflows, and automation using Power Automate within Model-Driven Apps to streamline Army operations.

The contractor shall create responsive layouts, forms, and views in PowerApps to optimize user experience and data interaction within Model-Driven Apps.

The contractor shall leverage Power Query to connect and transform data from various sources for integration with DataVerse in Model-Driven Apps.

The contractor shall develop dashboards, reports, and visualizations within PowerApps to provide Army decision-makers with real-time insights and analytics.

The contractor shall collaborate with military stakeholders to gather requirements, validate designs, capture user touchpoints, and ensure Model-Driven Apps meet Army operational needs.

The contractor shall implement security roles, permissions, and data access controls within DataVerse to protect sensitive military information in Model-Driven Apps.

The contractor shall utilize AI Builder capabilities within PowerApps to add artificial intelligence features and predictive analytics to Model-Driven Apps for Army use cases.

The contractor shall test, debug, and optimize Model-Driven Apps across different environments to ensure performance and scalability in Army contexts.

The contractor shall stay updated on new features, updates, and best practices in Model-Driven App development, Power Pages design, and DataVerse management within the Power Platform ecosystem.

The contractor shall document PowerApps configurations, customizations, and data models for knowledge sharing, training, and future maintenance in Army settings.

The contractor shall ensure compliance with Army regulations, security standards, and data governance policies in all PowerApps development activities involving DataVerse, Model-Driven Apps, and Power Pages.

Contractor shall provide "new user" and "refresher" training for newly developed applications or dashboards quarterly for up to eight students each quarter. No training session is expected to last more than one hour.

For the PowerApps Developer(s) assigned to the ADS Division, the contractor shall provide a monthly contract performance report to the ADS Division chief with a summary of all tasks and actions completed and a status of in-progress tasks.
Position Details:
- Pay Rate / Range: $55-$65/hr
The above salary range represents the range expected for the position; however, final salary offers are based on a number of factors such as the position’s responsibilities; the candidate’s experience, education, and skills; location; travel required; and current market conditions.
