U.S. Army Interment and Resettlement Specialist

Enlist as a soldier into the United States Army and become a Corrections and Detention specialist who controls, supervises, counsel internees, manages detention operations, confinement operations and corrections treatment programs. You will provide professional detention/correctional support to US military prisoners, host nation corrections development and detainee operations. This is NOT a civilian contractor position.  No experience necessary.  Position is entry level.

JOB DUTIES

• Supervision of confinement and detention operations
• External security to facilities
• Counseling/guidance to individual prisoners within a rehabilitative program
• Records of prisoners/internees and their programs

PAID TRAINING

• 10 weeks of Basic Training.
• 17 weeks of Technical School with on-the-job instructions.

ORGANIZATIONAL REQUIREMENTS

• Between 17-34 years old.
• No felonies. (Defer Adjudication included).
• Current High School Senior, High school graduate or GED equivalent.
• Permanent resident or US citizen.
• Meet physical standards based on gender and age.
• Pass the Armed Services Vocational Aptitude Battery (ASVAB) test.
