Night Chaperones/Hall Monitors

We are seeking Seasonal help, part-time general relief who can return each season yearly as Night Chaperones/Hall Monitors to work each season primarily in Arlington and Alexandria, VA. We provide Safeguard Services to traveling student tour groups.

QUALIFICATIONS:

1. High School Diploma/GED okay; 6 mo. to 1 yr. college experience preferred
2. No Criminal Background.
3. No Illegal Drug Usage (to include marijuana).
4. Reliable transportation as not all locations are metro accessible.
5. Ability to work 3 days a week Monday-Sunday from 10 pm to 5 am.
6. Legal right to work in the USA.
7. Ability to read, write, speak and understand English.
8. Ability to walk the floor, (generally a single hallway), every 10-15 min or more for hours at a time.

COMPENSATION:

Begins at $12.00 per hour for entry level non DCJS Card Holders. Active Card Holders begin at $15.00 USD per hour, based upon experience.

Must have VA DCJS unarmed registration or ability to obtain one by a set deadline; class cost is $100.00 and conducted a full weekend with exam. Application to apply for VA Card is born by applicant as it will be an individual two year registration application with additional cost for fingerprint background check.

Trip care waiver will need to be signed regarding Covid. Proof of vaccination or negative Covid test results required prior to working each range of shifts.
