Restaurant Assistant Manager Duties and Responsibilities
- Oversees day to day operations including casual and fine dining a la carte service
- Actively manages the hiring, scheduling, and training of employees
- Ability to inspire employees to provide exemplary service consistently and the ability to coach employees for improvement
- Able to perform multiple tasks while maintaining composure and professionalism
- Knowledge of member/guest relations and member loyalty practices
- Assists with ordering food and beverage products while maintaining par levels and budgetary goals
- Increasing member return rate by ensuring satisfaction and prompt problem resolution
Experience/Skills
- Minimum of two years management experience preferred
- Must be 21+ years of age
- Availability to work some weekends and holidays
- Outstanding leadership and communicative skills
- High level of professionalism, customer service skills; demonstrable passion for service
- Strong interpersonal skills
- A self-starter who works independently and ingroups
- Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
- Strong Oral and written communication skills
- PC skills (Outlook, Word, Excel)
- Able to organize and prioritize work
