Volunteers Needed – Literacy Council of Northern Virginia

Volunteers are the backbone of our educational programs and operations, enabling us to serve 1,500 adult learners annually. As a LCNV volunteer, you may be an instructor, helping English Language Learners (ELLs) achieve their educational goals, assess our learners to help with measuring their progress, support LCNV’s mission through community outreach, or strengthen our office and program operations in a variety of administrative and skills-based opportunities.

If you are passionate about adult education, consider joining our corps of over 600 volunteers who are helping LCNV empower Northern Virginia’s adults to participate more fully and confidently in their communities – you could make a difference in an individual's prospects, a family's opportunities, and a community's future.
