Description

Enlist as a soldier into the United States Army and become an Aircraft Pneudraulics Repairer who supervises, inspects and performs aviation unit, intermediate and depot maintenance on aircraft pneudraulics systems. This is NOT a civilian contractor position. No experience necessary. Position is entry level.

JOB DUTIES

  • Inspect and perform maintenance on airplane and helicopter pneudraulic systems — the combination of hydraulic and compressed air pressure that powers aircraft parts, such as landing gear, rudders, and brakes.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical problems and test components to make sure aircraft are safe and ready to fly.

PAID TRAINING

  • 10 weeks of Basic Training.
  • 13 weeks of Technical School with on-the-job instructions.

ORGANIZATIONAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Between 17-34 years old.
  • No felonies. (Defer Adjudication included).
  • Current High School Senior, High school graduate or GED equivalent.
  • Permanent resident or US citizen.
  • Meet physical standards based on gender and age.
  • Pass the Armed Services Vocational Aptitude Battery (ASVAB) test.
