Bartender

We are excited to welcome a part-time bartender to our team at the American Legion, located in a beautiful, newly renovated building. This is a flexible scheduling position, perfect for someone who enjoys working in a friendly and engaging setting.

We operate a beer and wine bar only—please note, we do not have a full bar. However, patrons are welcome to bring and store their own liquor on-site, which you will be responsible for pouring.

Key Responsibilities:

• Serve beer, wine, and patron-provided liquor with professionalism and care.

• Operate and clean bar equipment to maintain a safe, sanitary bar area.

• Assist with inventory management and restock supplies as needed.

• Set up rental halls for events, ensuring everything is prepared and organized.

• Use the TOAST point of sale (POS) system efficiently for order processing.

• Verify legal drinking age and serve alcohol responsibly, following all state and local regulations.

• Engage with patrons in a friendly, professional manner, fostering a welcoming atmosphere.

Candidate Profile:

      . Outgoing, friendly and socialble with excellent communication skill   

      . Comfortable interacting with older veterans who appreciate friendly conversation 

      . Reliable, attention to detail

      . Knowledge of TOAST point of sales system preferred
