DEPARTMENT:?Legal and Risk Management? 

TITLE:?Junior Corporate Counsel? 

REPORTS TO:?Senior Corporate Counsel? 


Sabey is looking for a highly motivated,?new?attorney?with an interest in?joining?the?in-house legal department at a growing real estate company. You will be joining a small, dynamic?legal team with an opportunity to assist in a wide variety of contracts,?transactions?and general corporate areas.? 


This position will report to the Senior Corporate Counsel, Director of Legal Services, and provide direct transactional support to internal groups as well?as?work closely with outside counsel on a variety of real estate and corporate related matters.? The focus will include data center?lease, license, and?other commercial?agreements.?? 



  • Provide transaction?management and?support for?Sales executives,?including?drafting, review, and negotiation of data center lease agreements,?amendments,?carrier license agreements, and non-disclosure agreements.??? 
  • Provide support to?Senior Corporate Counsel with real estate?and corporate?transactions,?including?acquisitions, easements, financing, sales, and related due diligence review?? 
  • Provide support to?Property Management and Data Center Operations with review of vendor master service agreements? 
  • Support Senior Corporate Counsel with general corporate matters and various legal projects??? 
  • Other projects and duties as assigned?? 



  • Ability to think critically and diligently about complex legal documents at all phases of the legal process? 
  • Ability to interact with all levels of Sabey employees?and?external counsel??? 
  • Ability to interface with technology? 
  • Ability to remain stationary for extended periods of time? 
  • Ability to safely perform routine site visits? 



  • Proof of passed State Bar Exam and proof of good standing?? 
  • J.D. from an ABA – accredited law school??? 



  • Proven experience?reviewing,?drafting?and editing leases and other commercial contracts? 
  • Demonstrated ability to balance multiple priorities?? 
  • Ability?and desire?to work both independently and?as?a team to meet deadlines and drive transactions to completion? 
  • Established?track record of success in a continually changing work environment?? 
  • Ability to generate solutions to novel, complex?problems? 
  • Willingness to continually improve processes? 
  • Ability to provide outstanding service to a diverse group of internal?stakeholders?and Sabey’s customers?
