Assistant Service Tech/ Helper

Grate Pools, Inc. is a swimming pool service and construction company that has been operating in Arlington, Virginia for the last 20 years.  We service residential and commercial swimming pools/ spas and fountains.   We operate out of the AAAA Storage at 2305 Sout Walter Reed Drive, Arlington, VA 22204.  We service the greater Washington, DC metropolitan area.

We are Currently seeking assistant service technicians/ helpers for all phases of swimming pool service, repair, construction and renovation.  Experience preferred but not required. Training will be provided to individuals with an eagerness and willingness to learn and succeed.  Duties will range from swimming pool opening/ closings, pool/ spa/ fountain maintenance, repairs, plumbing, electrical, controls, concrete/ masonry and complete renovation work.  This is a full time year round position for the ideal candidate.

• Valid driver's license and clean driving record
• Professional appearance and positive attitude
• Desire to grow with an expanding company
• Reliable transportation to and from work
• Ability to work overtime and Saturday's during peak season (Spring/ Fall)
• Ability to lift and carry 80 pounds
• Good health to perform service and construction realted tasks
• Ability to work in all outdoor envioronments
• Willingness to learn and complete tasks efficiently and with a focus on quality workmanship
• Proof of Covid 19 Vacination
