Administration of Customer Service Walk-in Center (WIC) Front Desk Operation to include:

  • Trained in Collector functions for coverage purposes
  • Ensures Front Desk workstation, ticket dispenser, hallway kiosks, and public workstations are operable/functional, seeking assistance when necessary
  • Acknowledge and greet visitor(s) upon Front Desk arrival; - inquire and discern reason for visit utilizing knowledge/awareness of services rendered by CCU and to ensure appropriate service ticket is dispensed to visitor (additional probing may be necessary)
  • Issues appropriate service category ticket , and instructs/directs visitor to seating area to await system ticket number announcement and assigned service window
  • Monitors service queues approaching  wait time threshold and notifies Walk-in Center management for assistance if and when necessary
  • Contacts CCU management or other staff members for requesting visitor(s) (i.e., appointments, escalations, visitor inquiries, etc.)
  • Discerns if visitor needs/requires special accommodation (i.e., language assistance, hearing/sight impaired, seating; and
  • Trained in Collector functions for coverage purposes.
  • Take payments from CCU customers.
